I was wondering if anyone has any experience juicing berries with a steam juicer? I heard about one called the Mehu Liisa steam juicer. I have canned chokecherry syrup and jelly over the last few years and I just use an old berry press with colander. It takes me forever and I never feel like I actually get as much juice out of them as I should. Can anyone tell me if a steam juicer works better? I found some on-line that make it sound simple, but I want to know if they really work as easily as they claim it to.

We were friends with the guy who first imported the Mehu juicer, and even though he's now deceased, I believe his family carries on.

That's neither here nor there, I can just vouch for the juicer: we had tons of great juice over the years from those juicers -- from that family, and from my aunt who has one as well. I believe those who own them swear by them and it's a pretty straightforward process.

Be happy to check again with my aunt if you'd like. Just PM me.
