Ceramic knife concern

Hi

I've just bought a ceramic knife

I've searched on Google and it's said that ceramic shouldn't be dropped or it could be broken.


Very unluckily, I 've just dropped it accidentally, but apparently it's fine. However

I would like to know if it could be broken "inside" and release harmful particles?

No, no harmful anything inside.

It is literally ceramic. The concern if you drop it is to chip the edge of the blade.

It will either chip or break off a chunk or a half. Or shatter.

If it's solid ceramic, it's most likely zirconia. I know Kyocera knives are. Zirconia is used for some hip replacements, and there are no known issues with using zirconia in the body. I can't think of any way of producing airborne particles other than grinding it with a diamond wheel.
