Cool Idea

this guy has expanded on Alton's spice rack and has made a pretty good spice rack..I think it could be done a lot cheaper than he did it probably..Just thought I would share with ya all

NICE!!! I`m glad to see it was also on the Inside of a door in the dark, as having that in a normal room on a wall will get sun damaged :(

I wouldn`t mind having my Element Collection in such a way too! :)

If you read the comments below his blog, there are several people who said they saw the canisters a lot cheaper than he paid..Linens and Things and World Market were a couple of the places.

I found some pretty cheap. Not too much detail on the size and such.

wow that is cheap...but ya gotta buy 12 cases...lol,,would be good if ya had somebody (or more) to split it up. Its says its from True Value so I'm gonna check their site and some others...thanks

Nice rack. I have a double decker carousel in my pantry, but it takes up alot of space. Does look like a cool project. Thanks for sharing, Sage.

(At first glance, it reminded me of an old eye shadow pallette I had from a beauty supply store. )

I just have a problem having a box of spice jars somewhere because the canisters won't fit an entire jar.
So my quest continues. sighhhh
