I have become a pressure cooker fan, and use it at least once a week. I have a Fagor 8qt. Either Fagor or Amazon sent me an offer for a Dessert Kit for my PC, and I didn't think it was all that expensive, so I ordered one, fortunately.
Around Christmas, I make steamed puddings, pretty much by demand; Persimmon pudding, Carrot pudding and Mum's Plum pudding. They each take about three hours in the double boiler.
Today, I hauled out the silicone pan and rack, and made two persimmon puddings at 35 minutes each!!! I love making the puddings, but really, it's pretty confining to babysit the doubleboiler for three hours.
I love it when some new gadget works like it's supposed to!!! This gets a recommend from me.
