That is really quite cool. It makes a lot of sense. I think their first line about stuff you should know is pushing it though. They say it saves time and water. I guess you could make an argument that it saves a few seconds because you remove all the food at once instead of fishing a few pieces out at a time. I do not see how it saves water though. Neat concept though.
 
It may actually cost you more water. You need water deep enough to submerge the entire pod. If you just put the veggies directly into the water, they would spread out and cook in shallower water.
 
Interesting, but I would think that by spreading stuff like potatoes, about in the pan would ensure more even cooking. I would think that having the potatoes bunched up would not promote even cooking.
 
An interesting solution to a problem that I don't think exists.

My problem is where would I store it? Maybe I could just stick it inside my multi-purpose pot that I already have that does all of that and probably uses even less water? :LOL:
