I have very little counterspace, and would prefer not to put anything on my walls.

Anyone know of a good standup style spicerack I could put on top of my microwave?

I generally keep about 8-10 spices and purchase fresh herbs more often than dried herbs.

Any links to good online stores might be good here too....

I would check somehwere like Williams Sonoma, Crate and Barrel, or a similar type of store in your area that sells culinary products. If possible, try and purchase a rack which contains empty bottles because there's no way of knowing how old the spices/herbs are. That way, you can start fresh by buying loose, unpackaged spices from a natural-foods store (or wherever you can find these in your area). Avoid stores that carry huge bins of spices because more than likely the product doesn't move as fast and there will be more of a chance that the spices are old. You also might try this site:

i really like the size of it. the tubes are tall and narrow.
there's also one with more tubes of spices on it.
