Casserole Dish...

What Casserole Dish should I get that I can use in the Oven and on the Gas hob. As there are a few cooking books I have that require me to do this but I have nothing that I can do this with as of yet so need to invest in a Casserole Dish that can go in the oven and on the Hob

Cast iron comes to mind. Plain or enameled will work.
