Cast Aluminium griddle.

I want to buy a Cast Aluminium griddle for making my home made Chapati(Indian Tortilla).It is a non stick top.I want to know,if anyone has used it.It is around 22 canadian dollar for a 26 cms skillet.Is it good to use Cast Aluminuim.I believe,it is better than a non stick,since it will be more thick.Has anyone used it?

I had a non-stick Nordicware cast aluminum griddle. It worked fine, though I've never made chapati.

I have an all clad aluminum griddle and I love it

Before I bought my electric lefse griddle, I used a cast-iron griddle for chapati, lefse, and tortillas. It worked great. Don't know why a aluminum one wouldn't work.
