Cast Iron Skillet question

So all the cast iron I have is old. Well one of my pans is a Wagner and I seasoned it in the campfire while camping. It got some pinkish purpleish spots in it after that. It doesn't change the performance any but I wondered if anyone has ever had this happen before.

Thanks,
Vita

yes Vita I have, with no problems. all I do is every once in a while, I use really hot water and a soft scrubber to get any left 'stuff' off of it that I am not sure of..........
