I bought a clay chicken pot like the Romertopf brand but its a Val do Sol Portguese made type. The bottom of the interior is glazed and after I brought it home I read that glaze may cause lead poisoning...I also read that the best clay cookers have a glazed interior on the bottom...so I'm confused.
Is anyone familiar with this brand? I saw a Val do Sol Tagine cooker on eBay so apparently this brand is sold in the U.S.
Anyone have one of these clay chicken cooker pots? Familiar with Val do Sol?
