just got a new stick-free griddle. i dont know why they call it stick-free..cause everything sticks to it!

any suggestions on how to clean it (without scratching it) would be greatle appreciated!

Sick-free griddles are meant to be used with relatively low temperatures, up to 360 degres F. or so. Also, you have to put a thin film of oil on them before cooking anything.

As far as cleaning goes, clean under running hot water with a soft, plastic scouring pan and a good grease-cutting dishsoap. Do not put in the dishwasher as the soap can damage the non-stick coating.

When the griddle is hot, pour a little water on the griddle and scrape it with a spatula. The stuck on food will lift off.
