Also for eggs - not too hot!!! Eggs need very little heat, and punish excessive heat.

my $5.00 garage sale purchase was a 14 wide and 3" deep skillet. It has the long handle and then a short one to carry it with 2 hands. It was really nasty when I saw it. It took a long time to clean it up but it was all worth it. It is great. The only thing no cover but I use a pizza pan for the cover works out great. you never can go wrong with cast iron.
