Yes, what he said. Seasoning is part of owning a carbon steel wok. And boiling to set a sauce is common for your wok, don't worry. In fact, my ex-wife used to clean her wok by boiling water in it. No soap. Ever.

Good-O! Remember, seasoning is an ongoing process, and the more you use your wok, the better it will cook. What time is dinner?
