ISO replacement Pot lids

The friendliest place on the web for anyone that enjoys cooking.

Pyrex lids should be fairly easy to find at their outlet stores, if not, could probably be ordered. Check the web site for locations. If you are on a budget and want metal lids, I would check out the generic lids which are flat and fit a variety of pots. The big advantage is that they will fit a variety of sizes. so you don't need one for each pot. Saw Elton Brown using one of these a couple of days ago. Should be available at restaurant supply stores or over the internet.

b-feller, Googled pot lid and found one for 24 bucks, yeah pricey.

Then I went to E-bay and searched 'universal pot lid' and came up with some a lot cheaper.

I know exactly what you want and to echo other posters a restaurant supply store should have it. But if there is none close to you may want to try E-bay.

Good luck.

thanks, i'll try and find a restaurant supply store which shouldn't be too hard as montreal has the highest restaurent to population ratio in north america.... thanks again for the advice
