Sandy, we must live near each other. I am in northern Morris County, not at all far from Bergen. The LeCeuset outlet in Flemmington is excellent, and the seconds are great, can barely find the flaw!

I went to a TJ Maxx today and saw a red oval roaster with a lid. It looked like it said 4 1/2 quart on it, but I only see a 3 1/2 and a 5 qt. oval roaster. Does anyone know whether there is such a beast? And is $89 a good price for it?

Marmalady & Spicumup & Bluecat, thanks for the advice. I also popped into TJ Maxx and saw both blue and red oval Le Creuset - also about 5 qts - $99. I know they'd last a lifetime, so for $99 that's pretty good. I didn't buy it, though. I really would like to take a trip to that Flemington store you mentioned - I'm going to look it up now. ;) Sandyj
