Sorry for the stupid questions guys, but I believe this is the best way to learn without ruining my pans.

My stainless steel pans came with some stainless steel accesories, like a spatula, spoon, etc.... Can I use these on the pans, or will they scratch the inner part of the pan? Thanx again!

should be ok. you only really need to avoid metal utensils with silverstone and tin. never cut food in you pan, though.

So far.. I haven't heard any one ask a stupid question here... (except for maybe me once in awhile.)

Metal utensils on a SS pan are not a problem. You may get some minor scratches if you scrape hard but the pan is a tool, not a work of art. Marks are inevitable.

thanks

i also just purchased a set of ss cookware. they work great but the egg thing. i had to get a non stick pan. this after i gave away all of my non stick pans. but i will try the preheat first then add oil to pan (ss) for the eggs again and see if it will work...artie
