Cutco Knives

What's everyone's opinion on cutco knives?
My family has them and love them, but they don't do much gourmet cooking. The homemaker set's knives are great I've used them before, but I want to purchase a gourmet set and was wondering if anyone on here have used Cutco's gourmet knives?

I have a set of Cutco basic knives and serving utensils DH gave me years ago. I eventually replaced the knives with Wusthof, which I like much better. They keep a sharp edge better.

Experienced cooks here advise buying only the knives you actually use, rather than a set. It's less expensive and you don't have stuff you don't use taking up space.
