I hear you on that one Frank. I had a Shun given to me as a gift. The handle was longer than my hand is wide. It was a 12" chefs. I gave it to my son. Just way too big for me to handle and too dangerous.

That one is only about a 4 inch blade. Truth be told I don't use it as often for little things as I use the gyuto.
