Good deal on a Santoku

I came across this in this months Food and wine. 75% off a Hammer Stahl 5.5 inch Santoku. $31.75 with tax and shipping to me.

I just received my knife and i am impressed with the quality of the knife.
It retails for 99.00 bucks and I think it is worth that. The 34.00 price tag made it really worth while.

The knife is going to be perfect for my wife and daughter who prfer a smaller knife than I do.

I would put the quality right up there with any other of the big name mfgs.

It looked like a nice knife, but I was having a lot of problems with their website. Even when I went back a few days ago to see about ordering it. It certainly looked and sounded like it was worth 34 bucks.

Thanks for the heads up, I just bought 2 for Christmas presents. It looks like they might be offering a little better deal, I paid just over $60 for both and that included shipping.
