Knives in the dishwasher
Hey guys
my mom just put my wusthof classic knives through the dishwasher and im pretty angry... i told her 3 times not to because i heard that it makes it so you can never sharpen it again. Is this true? Please help :( (they were a 9 inch serrated, 7 inch santoku, and 8 inch chef's) |

No it doesn't mean that at all. It means you'll likely have to sharpen it sooner though.

No, don't worry. It happens and it isn't going to hurt them long term. My husband has done it too many times in our marriage.

not true. the reason you dont want them there is that the water jets make the knives bang against each other and against other things... this will not only mistreat them but make the edge dull
