Rachel Ray's New Knife

I have noticed this week that Rachel Ray is using a new knife. She is no longer using her Wustoff Santoku. She has switched over to a Furi Santoku. I wonder f a million people are going to go out and start buying Furi knives now.

C'mon guys. I know she's a bit too effervescent, but maybe she really does enjoy a wide variety of food. I know I do. There are very few things I don't like. I can about count them on one hand.

Besides, I like cheerful. With most of life being so mundane, and with all of the negativity that surrounds us each day, and since I rarely get to see her shows, she's a welcome change from the ordinary, you know, like watching "Leave It To Beaver", or something.

I certainly prefer her bubbles to the acid spewing from the characters of "Reality Shows", you know, those shows that have nothing to do with reality.

She's harmless, if a bit over the top.

I enjoy watching Rachel Ray, but I didn't notice the new knife. I remember hearing about her having problems with her hands or something??? I will have to check out that Furi Santoku.

As far as her knife is concerened WHO CARES!!!! Jeeeezzzzz! Like I'm gonna run out and buy her 'trash bowl' as if mine isn't good enough or something? PUUUULLLEEEEEESSSSSE!

The only reason I brought up her new knife is that I feel that like her or not, Rachel Ray is to credit for the Santoku knife gaining its popularity. Had it not been for her, most people would still not know what it is or that it even exists. People saw her using that knife and wanted to know what it was. I just found it interesting that she switched and was curious to know if Furi would gain significantly more popularity because of her.
