BTW -- join Chris's (the owner's) Gold Club. It's free and their monthly specials are often super deals, including free priority shipping. He offers up a kitchen knife now and then, but most of the specials are hunting and pocket knives.

Maybe it's a guy thing, like a good set of tools, but I agree -- knives can be beautiful, even works of art.

Thanks. Nice choice, it looks like a great knife. 8 inches seems a little short to me, maybe I just like big knives. I've been admiring these kasumi damascus for a long time. http://www.metrokitchen.com/kasumi/
