I've seen bright green pickles at luncheons and covered dish dinners. Are they "regular" pickles with green food coloring? Can I add the green food color to any kind of pickles? I can never seem to track down the person who brought those pickles to ask for their "secret".
I am planning to make lime watermelon rind pickles this weekend and am wondering if I can make them bright green?
Any ideas/suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks.
