Canning green tomatoes

I thought I asked this, but I messed up somewhere!
Does anyone know how to can green tomatoes/
My gram used to, but she's passed and I miss having fried green tomatoes in the winter and spring.
No one in our family has her recipe.
thanks in advance,
sissy

Here you go, Sissy...this is from Cooks.com. I'd never heard of doing this before, and I think it's a great idea.

CANNING GREEN TOMATOES (For Frying)

Slice tomatoes fairly thick. Stack in jar. Fill with hot water. Add 1 teaspoon salt. Process 7 minutes in hot water bath.
