Freezing goat cheese


I made a chicken breast stuffed and rolled with duxelles and goat cheese. Id' like to freeze them but am worried about the goat cheese. Can I freeze these before cooking? Would it be better to cook first and then freeze? What about freezing the extra couple of ounces of goat cheese that I didn't use?
