The longest I have kept pesto in the freezer is about one year. I make my pesto with half basil and half parsley. I have noted no deterioration in the parmesan cheese in the frozen pesto.

I freeze mine as well in small plastic containers without cheese and add cheese later.It keeps well in the freezer.
