Hi - the tree in my grannies garden has given us over 12lb of apricots this year and we were thinking of making them into glace apricots - does anyone have any idea how and is it difficult to do?

I have found a couple of recipes online that seem to take weeks and weeks to prepare. Does anyone have any better suggestions? I'll report back once we've given it a go. Thanks

I made apricot jam this year! MMMmmmmmMM!

Do you have a dehydrator? You could split them and dry them. Great snacking or in place of raisins in baking.

Drying them is a good idea, and making jam. We both love Glace Apricots and the only recipe I have found says you have to soak them and recover them and leave them to stand and then glaze them in sugar and soak again and so on and so on... as always, I was just after the easy options!
