Half and half

I have two quarts of half and half. Can i freeze thsi? Will it still be a viable product when it is thawed? I have frozen milk in the past but with mixed results.

I would expect the same mixed results. I freeze milk and 1/2 & 1/2 all the time. Usually no problem.

haven't done in years but used to freeze milk for a month or so. always was fine.

I froze half and half with some sugar and vanilla in an ice cream freezer yesterday. It keeps fine and somehow it just disappears from the freezer when I look for it?? Burglers?

I can't imagine why burglars would want effluent from a cow. But I know what you mean about it disappearing from the freezer. Almost makes me want to make some but my ice cream freezer is tucked away and I'm too lazy to get it out and freeze it. Maybe closer to the holidays I'll have more ambition.
