This is my first year growing soy beans in the garden, and i was blessed wit h a significant surpluss. When I buy edamame in the store, it is frozen. So, my question is, to freeze my excess beans, should I blanch them first ? or can i just freeze them as is? or, it just doesnt matter ? :-p

thanks

I'd say blanch them first. But that's just me.:) Not sure why, but when I used to freeze beans etc, I always blanched them . Lucky you to have that many!! My two scrawny plants haven't even started flowering.
