1. Do sealed Jars need to be in the freezer?
2. If not, fridge good?
3. The one I made tonight didn't seal airtight, how long should it last?
4. How long is the shelf life?,Just used sugar, pectin, butter (to keep from bobbling over) & fruit juice?

Hi and welcome to Discuss Cooking :)

1. No
2. Fridge is fine, but if they were processed correctly, they don't need to be refrigerated till after they're opened.
3. If you keep it refrigerated, probably a week or two.
4. If it's properly processed, they will keep indefinitely, although the quality may suffer after a year or so.

You said you used butter? In the mixture you canned? Was that part of the recipe? In general, you should not use butter when canning because processing will not prevent it from going rancid.
