As I am in the process of moving house I do not have my freezer so ,having made a batch of mushroom soup with excellent results I bottled half for another time and sterilised the kilner jar in my pressure cooker on high for 30 mins to be sure. I am happy with the seal but how long do you think it will be good for? I am not expecting to keep it indefinitely but being mushroom soup I would like your opinions please
 
As long as the seal is sound the soup base should last for quite a while.
I've eaten canned wild ducks etc in their own stock which was a year old.
