Well, a couple of reasons actually. See that picture above of Abby standing in front of the huge double sink made of iron and concrete?? Messed up the incision on my rib cage (among other things I was doing that I was apparently not supposed to be doing), so they had to re-open it and re-do it with wires and stuff.
The other reason was a prolonged 'personal' stay at the hospital, they felt I needed the rest and to be in a 'safe' environment for awhile.
I am sorry you have so much stress in your life right now, hope it gets better for you soon!

Nope, doing pretty crudy, but, I'm alive. Too much stress in life, ya know? I'm fine, really. How are you and why were you in the hospital again??

I was going to get my flu shot when I got my staples out but my surgeon is taking them out now because he wants to see it for himself (it was when my family doctor took them out the first time we noticed the infection). So I will get it done when I see her (family doc) the following week.

I am being really careful not to overdo it and yes, they are both helping me out. I find I have to do little bits or my leg really cramps up at night, but I have very much learned my lesson....honest. Thanks for caring, Babe, and know that it goes both ways.

wow that was a lot of iv's. only major surgery i ever had was gall bladder. it hurt worse that childbirth. took a long time to heal. i needed it done just before the band-aid surgery tech. was in use. i hate those staples, they really do leave scars.

i am still having pain in my knees but it comes and goes and is not so bad right now.

did you get a flu shot? if not, you should. you don't need a major illness . are the dh and boarder still helping you? i am so worried you will over do. gotta go get my pineapple out of dehydrator. take care. babe
