well arent left overs what thanksgiving is for? i know its usually the topic of all the magazines and the cooking shows for like the next week afterwards.

Mine was good, I made the usual turkey, mashed taters, stuffing, fresh green beans, stuffed mushrooms, gravy, chocolate pudding pie & pumpkin pie. All for 2 adults & 3 kids under 6! lol....lots of leftovers!

car trouble stinks!!! we have had our share too..unfortunately we have to have a van to accomodate 3 car seats, so getting a "clunker" was never an option!!! It great that your parents let you use thier car......anyway you could use public transportation or the LIRR?

yeah im hoping so. I know it will all work out at some point. the only problem is that my car is giving me trouble and if i end up working close and my car dies im going to get a beater (a busted up why is it running type of car) but if im still going back to jersey for a while then I need to figure something out. ill have to check it out when im off on thursday. luckily my parents let me use there car.

You are right....as long as you have each other things will be ok! Yup life is a journey, sometimes things are rough & other times its smooth sailing!! I think maybe when you move in with your sister everything will fall into place ; )

Well they let me cook. Its jsut like im in there way and no matter what I do they think im messy. Im actually really clean and especially im hard core in the sanatery thing. and my parents kitchen isnt set up that good so im fighting myself and all teh crap for counter space. so much junk. I like to keep my counter clean and empty but thats besides the point.

like I cant make a stock with out getting guff (sp?) they jsut dont get it becuase they arent used to having real food cooked and they dont understand that you need to get all 4 burners going, oven on, things prepped and ready to go.

im babbling. I mean I do getto cook but like to do some real cooking they have to be gone for the day.

Well my sister is working on getting the kitchen together but she is going to enjoy having us there becuase I can use her kithcne and ill end up cooking for them.

We are going to be livng rent free until we sell our house. so who knows when that will be.

we think about moving back all the time but my job might be in melville and If i can get a super easy short commute that would seal our fate for a while. we jsut dont know. this is like one of those poitns in our lives that we are going to look back on and be like wow how the hell did we ever get threw that part.

but yeah we arent livign in pa becuase after culinary school we were going to moveb ack but we liked haning out with oru freinds again, 1 of them was pregnant and stuff and having some issues and we jsut kidna enjoyed being back here.

so who knows. lives a journey and its been a bit wild for the last 2 years at least.

but as long the wife and I got each other we will be ok. I guess thats all that matters.
