Beth, I haven't been here in a while and see a few who were here when I was but wondered about Uncle Bob. He gave me a few good recipes and just wondered. Hope you are doing well.

When you get up every morning, PM me and I'll respond with the day of the week and the date. Keep in mind I'm a late sleeper.

i love to shop at farmer's markets, garden or no garden. i just received a free 'bounty basket' of local produce, and am really enjoying the fresh fruits and veggies!:) it sounds as if you are adjusting very nicely to your new home and environment, beth. still, i know from my own experience that it takes awhile to shake off bouts of homesickness for the place and people you left. it took me a good year or so to plant new roots, to feel like i really 'belonged' in this new place. i have since come to love my virginia home like no other, and know that you have a bright rosy future to look forward to as well....

hi beth, i hope i didn't freak you with my extreme interest in your building and decorating plans. making plans and choosing styles and materials for your new home is exciting and a big challenge, isn't it, even though it can be hard work and frustrating at the same time. are you living with your sister until your house is finished? i know that change, even the good kind, can be difficult at times. you seem to be good with making adjustments, and going with the flow, and that's a big advantage in your favor, beth. i hope you are finding time to get acquainted with your new surroundings, and learning your way around your new home state and town. i really didn't mean to come on so strong with my unbridled enthusiasm for your house plans. your descriptive post brought back a flood of wonderful memories for me, and i just over-reacted. i would love to hear more about your new endeavors, but please, no pressure on my account....:)

I just read in one of the threads you were moving in December. I hope you are all settled now and you are enjoying your new surroundings. I have been in and out of here due to various health concerns but try to keep track of all my dear friends, of which you are one!

Hi Beth, are you all settled in to your new place yet? I remember you were planning to move but didn't know when it was happening. Great to see you here.
