Have you got that shotgun up there with you Buck or is it in your shed?
Your friends are going to miss you and your many talents. Just make your presence felt to Katie as she thinks of you each and every day. We'll see you again one day.
Oh Buck, you are such a piece of this family that is so missed. So many hearts hurt. So many feel helpless and don't know what to do about Katie.
You just can't replace one of God's children with another. You as a parent know this.
None of us know why so suddenly you were taken from this world, where your humor and knowledge were so appreciated and loved.
But you must have been needed more in Heaven.
I just wish it wasn't so.
But you have brought us together as a family to praise you and show our faith again, maybe when we needed it more than we realized.
So, though I haven't been here long, you made your mark on me, and many others, which your passing will not be forgotten, or deminished.
The only problem now is, Buck, we had you all to ourselves, and I'm jealous. While you sit in heaven, you are for all to see. So don't forget about us, in your world travels, and stop by once in a while, smack us around and teach us a thing or two and bring a smile, will ya, please?
Bless you and keep you, and bless Katie and help her through this most sad and difficult time. God, hear my prayer.
"And at night you will look up at the stars. In one of the stars I shall be living. In one of them I shall be laughing.
And so it will be as if all the stars were laughing, when you look at the sky at night . . . You--only you--will have stars that can laugh!"
