Morning Dash, have a great day !

I really like the rain, especially rumbles of thunder. It brings a kind of peace to me. My family thinks I'm the strong one - they're always wanting something from me. Normally I keep to myself, even with family. And I only hear from them if they want money or need me to intervene on their behalf when they've gotten into a pinch. I should be flattered that they come to me. But I would just like to hear from them when all they want is to say hello, how are you, and the like. But I guess that's my fault, too, since I don't contact them either. I have a trust issue that goes way back. Only the children in my family are exempted. Oh, and the pets, too! I love animals and they seem to like me, too. The little ones and the animals don't judge, jump to conclusions, or treat me poorly...What a great gift that God has bestowed on humans. Did you ever wonder why "dog" spelled backwords is "God"? Did you ever wish another person was a pet so that you would be accepted and loved unconditionally for who you are? I have. It makes me a little sad sometimes. But then, I am ever the optimist and always searching for the good in others. Is that a silly thing to do?

Sometimes I get a little scared that the day I stop learning something new, I'll die. Then the fear leaves me because I just learned something!

I'm real easy going, but I am always running around dealing with other people's worries and problems. This site is nice because I think that maybe I will be the one who gets cared for once in a while.

Did I mention that I write children's story books? Short stories, mostly, but always with a message to the reader.
