Thanks for the cake karma. I now have to make another one (something different) for a friend for tomorrow. Plus I have a meeting with a bride on Thursday for a wedding cake in mid January.....so it begins!

Hope you had a nice holiday,too! I spent the day with daughters family, 6 kids from 8 months to 18 yrs. Took the kids out for walk after lunch, very good day.

Don't worry about forgetting I am Canadian. We are just one big happy family here no matter where we are from. But the one thing that probably gives me away is my spelling eh? Like neighbour, favourite, etc. Oh, and maybe the occasional "eh"! I do know all about inlaws and holidays, well inlaws and just about anything for that matter. Your trip sounds good and I will have to read your thread.

Yeah, I love the game too. Actually , it wasn't a holiday for us here in Canada as we celebrate Thanksgiving in October. But Thursday was a very big day of thanks for me. I found out I finish my physio for my knee replacement this coming Tuesday, have been accepted into a pool program starting Thursday and was told I only have to use my cane now when I am tired, sore or going a long distance....basically at my own discretion. This is a real breakthrough in my recovery! How about you? Did you have a good long weekend?

It was good girlie. Quiet, good and uneventful. No family drama. I was very surprised that Chris' mom did not call. Oh well.... it was proably better that way. She has a way of ruining perfectly good times!! I hope you had a good holiday as well my dear friend!
