LP, I know exactly what you mean about ignoring stuff........not smart but understandable...........for some reason My Guy is looking out for me.......and when you feel up to it to mentally accept it......have your mammo.......only do it at the beginning of the week........Never, girls, do a mammo self-breast exam test on the weekends...........you'll only ruin your entire weekend with worry and there is no place that is going to run a mammo on the weekend anyway.......do your breast checks on a Monday......and use hand cream...........cancer feels like a small hard pea and doesn't move.......don't forget to examine your armpit area either.......so glad to hear that things are looking better for you.........:):)

Debs, thanks for the welcome back. I am sorry I never answered your message about your PAP. I am so glad it all worked out and don't be too hard on yourself. I am getting flack from my DH, Dad and best friend because I am about a year and a half late on getting a mammogram. My family has a huge history of breast cancer and my sister and I have both had (benign) lumpectomies. But with all the other stuff going on in my life one more medical worry is hard to handle.

Anyway, I am doing much better and am hoping by Christmas to be totally back to my normal routine!
