Thank you for the link! Do you mind if I ask what kind of camera? I've become picky about my food pics. I started out asking my other half to take them but we focus on different attributes and I end up telling him (nicely) to just give me the camera! lol.

LOVE your food pics. Your grilled veggie antipasti is amazing-looking and so is the trifle!

Hah! We were supposed to get up to fifty today, but no way it felt like that. Not with the evaporating/melting snow.
I always did like Pgh's weather better.

Thanks for your kind comments on my cakes, Jill. It is funny that you mention the simplicity of my daughter's cake. They had just both gone through some very serious health issues and decided that they didn't want to live together any more, they wanted to be married....NOW! We helped them arrange the pastor, book a little chapel shaped gazebo in a local park and DH drove them all over to get clothes, license etc. So I stayed home and was trying to surprise them with a cake. I make a chiffon cake and just used frosting and fruit I had from another cake I had just done. I knew she liked simple which was good because I had 3 hours! We served it right there in the park on a beautiful summer's evening. It was a lovely wedding and they are very happy.
