    Hi, you know that old thread you wrote about asking what type of apple that farm lady gave you? It's very likely to be a Worcester. We have a tree full of them, they are dessert apples rather dry but sweet in taste, often used for juicing, but obviously not cider. They go nicely in an apple tart, or mushed down for sauce with pork or cured ham.
