Thanks for the terrific meatball recipe! While I made some subtle changes, they made fabulous "Mexican Meatball Sub Sandwiches" last night!!!

Guess what Karen! I made your Peach Pound Cake for the third time (for my sister's birthday) and it turned out fantastic! That is definitely a keeper! Gracias!

Karen, your peach pound cake is amazing. Only I haven't had much luck with it. I did some baking for my best friends as a house warming gift (they had a lot of people helping out with moving & renovations and she hasn't had time to bake). I made your cake and three other items. On Saturday morning before we left for our niece's wedding we got a call that they didn't have enough baked goods for between the wedding and reception and could I bring something (they know I always have stuff in my freezer. So there went the cake. But at least I got to eat it there. Then I was going to my friends to finally see the house last night and decided to make the cake again to take for our tea. Well, I had it loosely wrapped in foil as it was still warm and had to stop quick and it went crashing to the floor. We were able to save enough, but I felt bad it wasn't this beautiful cake! But again, it tasted wonderful. Just wanted to share my story with you. Thanks again for a keeper recipe!

Hi Karen, long time no talk. I have been so busy with weddings (3 down, one to go) and helping my Dad empty and sell his condo, I haven't been around much. How are you doing? Would you be able to PM me that poundcake recipe? I am making some baked goods for my friends who are moving and I think they would really enjoy that. When you have a chance, no rush.

Thank you for the Karma. It really didn't take so much courage. I just felt like I could share my quest with fellow DCers. And I could always use a little encouragement, since I have a long journey ahead of me.
