Yeah, like the OK corral! It killed me to see Arkansas lose to Florida by just 3 points.

The Saints seem to actually be playing football this season. Yesterday's game was fun to watch.

Thanks for the friendship invite UB! I hope to become a good friend. Sorry Scarlett is such a bother, guess you must to do a lot to keep her happy. Speaking of Tara, how big is your farm? That shot of you wearing the suspenders reminds me of one I have of my paternal grandad. He was quite a farmer and a charmer. I learned a lot from him while he was around. I can remember his food crops, roses, flowers, the bounty he gave to his first/eldest grandchild, yours truly. My DH would call that GEEZING! cause that was a long time ago!

    Keep in touch,

I'm doing fine...thanks for asking! Like you, been busy in the garden. I am just starting to find some almost ripe tomatoes, just eating them on sandwiches to far. Did an inventory to see what tomato product I need to can this year; chili sauce and pizza sauce. Sorry to hear of your gardening challenges this year. The only problem we have had is I lost 20% of the garlic crop to rot, it was planted in the wettest part of the garden. Corn is tasseling!!!! Beans will flower soon, I plant them late every year to avoid the bean beetles. I am trying to get the courage to go out and get the 470 onions I pulled yesterday...what ever was I thinking? Starting Saturday the weather will turn hot and humid, so I want to get a lot done today and tomorrow. Good to hear from you..

Uncle B, haven't seen you much lately. How are you doing? I have been playing around with the ice cream machine lately. Made Dad a great diabetic chocolate cake today and will serve it with my raspberry ripple from yesterday. Chocolate will be next - I am going to experiment with adding chocolate syrup (my own) for swirl and chocolate chunks. If it works do you want the recipe?

we have lived all over Mississippi. My husband is a preacher. We lived six years in Maben which is west of Starkville, then moved to Cleveland in the delta for about 3 1/2 . Boy that place was hot and full of mosquitoes. Then we moved back closer to our families in Alabama for 3 years. Then we were back in Mississippi. We moved to Eupora which is not far from Maben. We only lived there 1 year then we decided to move to Texas. It tires me out just thinking of all those moves. We have so many great friends all over Mississippi. Wish we could get back and visit sometime . It is hard to get away. I read down there that you garden. Do you have a garden this year?
