Well after I watched all that nonsense with the exception of my buddy Chef John, I came upon a real keeper with Almazan Kitchen at 9:27. That channel is more than fascinating, and I've just spent time watching 5 of the most relaxing and beautiful episodes I've ever seen on youtube. Check it out and enjoy. You won't be sorry.

Almazan Kitchen is beautifully produced.

Maangchi is my friend, she is just as nice in person as she is on camera.

The numbers by social blade are given as a wide range. Most channels (especially cooking) do not make on the high end. The biggest factor is where the viewer is watching from. Viewers from the US are at the bottom of the top bracket.

Bigger channels can make a lot of money outside of YouTube revenue. Endorsements, cookbooks, tshirts etc.

Completely agree with you all about Almazon! I'll definitely be watching more of that channel. I only watched a couple so far, but I loved the gentle sizzling sounds of cooking, and the beautiful scenic photography.
