E-Mail from EArthlink asking to re-enter my

account information - - - - - even takes you to the earthlink site (or what looks like it anyway - it's really not. They say that during one of their automatical procedures they determined they could not verify our account information and to please re-enter everything or we may have disruption in our service.

NOT TRUE!!!!!

I'm sure we are all smarter than that but it never hurts to post this stuff. NEVER believe any e-mail whether it comes from Earthlink, AOL, or wherever that asks you to re-enter your billing information.

Good to post here, kitchennisse. I saw a program, believe it was the other morning on GMA saying this is a HUGH online scam and they are using REAL looking logos from banks, credit companies, stores, etc. They recommended that you log off the net, then log on again and YOU go to the business web site yourself and ask if they had sent the memo to you.
