pecans or almonds or sunflower seeds
dried cherries
dried cranberries
dried apricots
small pretzel sticks
rice chex
wheat chex
sweetened shredded coconut

combine and seal in freezer bags or tupperware container.
 
Sounds good Luvs, I make something a lot like that but I also use it for Christmas gifts in an attractive jar. Mine has

raisins
walnuts
almonds
cashews
sunflower seeds
dried cherries
dried cranberries
dried strawberries
dried pineapple
dried blueberries
 
that's a good idea, putting them in the jsars. i found some really pretty ones at the $1 store and got three. maybe that's what i'll give out next time there's an occassion.....
 
The people I gave the jars to were really pleased, started scoffing up the goodies and even though they were big jars, some had them half eaten before the day was over. :) This year I am thinking of giving jars with some type of dried soup mix in them. I did a search for soups in a jar a while back and found dozens of different soups, beans and cookies that you can put in a jar and just mix up and cook.
