I'm interested in your opinions of Charles Shaw wines from Trader Joe. :roll:

You get what you pay for so don't expect a $20 bottle but;
2 buck chuck isn't bad, just no where near great. They buy the end of bottling runs from other Calif.-I think- wine makers and blend thier product.
I have had worse wines and I actually think the Merlot to be, again, not great but certianly drinkable--like maybe at a wide open party [as opposed to a foodie party].

Lets see .. one of my fondest memories of Mr Shaw was about two years ago .. I was newly single and came off the plain to vegas with some friends, had a bottle in my carry on, got off the plain and into the limo and poped the cork ! ... walked around the casino with a bottle of mr shaw and some sun glasses .. ahh good times ..
Fast forward to today ...
Met my Girlfriend who is a wine buff and not Im a wine snob too ! to be honest shaw isnt bad but bottem line its so acidic that it messes your throught up, and its just not that taste, one that I would recomend and they have it at price club for like 13 bucks is Simi cab .. man that is so goood .. yumm ..
Fast forward to today ...
