Almond butter

Hi all,

I really like almond butter (pricey as it is :mrgreen:), and am wondering if I can sub it for peanut butter in most recipes. Say like pb-cookies or a satay sauce?

You probably can, but it will change the entire flavor of the recipe depending on the strength of the almond butter. I've never used almond flavors in recipes that had strong Asian flavors so I can't say as to how it would work in satay or peanut sauce. As for the cookies, I would know.
 
almond butter is so good!
i figure you could use it instead of peanut butter if you would prefer the taste.
