Hi, I am looking forward to becoming acquainted with this new forum. I grew up in Vermont, moved to Arizona and retired to East Central Kansas. We have 3 adult kids and 6 grandkids. My loves include cooking, baking, gardening and reading.

Hi marigene - I lived in Newport, Vermont for awhile if you know where that is - waaaaaaay up north - 258" of snow the one winter I lived there - I LOVED IT!!!!!! Skiing every day from about October and even skiied on my birthday, May 23rd!!! OK, it was a tad slushy but the huge boulders still weren't showing that show in the summer!!!!!
