I heard that this morning too middie - (or was it last night?)...I think I accidentally left the TV on and woke up listening to it on GMA. He was an icon I grew up with - his style will definately be missed - and what style he had!

A true icon that will be sorely missed. He covered every important news story there was.
He stayed at ground zero for days to help us all know all updates. He went overseas to several wars and talked to the troops and bring us what was REALLY going on.
He was one of the best reporters that I have seen.
