Ya know, I've been so busy philosophizing that I haven't had time to do what I like to do best on DC, read and respond to food posts.

Goodweed, I love your posts. I read twice a week to a friend who is blind. We sit over glasses of wine and philosphise (I know that is misspelled, but don't want to look it up) about everything. My husband is a historian, and I've just been around the block a few times (OK, the globe), and we all talk about any and everything. Quite often this means disagreements and much laughter. Life is good.
